Role Overview
Join our hospitality team as a Server at The Chedi Al Bait, Sharjah, delivering outstanding guest service in a luxurious onsite hotel environment. Your role is fundamental in ensuring each guest enjoys a memorable experience through attentive and professional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests by name when known and assist with comfortable seating arrangements.
- Provide attentive service within your designated station under management supervision.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of the menu, including food and beverage options and preparation methods to inform guests accurately.
- Anticipate and respond proactively to guests' needs to enhance satisfaction and foster strong relationships.
- Promptly report any guest complaints to supervisors for resolution.
- Place accurate orders with kitchen staff and ensure all necessary equipment is properly arranged on tables.
- Maintain stocked cabinets and drawers with adequate mis-en-place to enable efficient service operations.
- Adhere to grooming standards and wear the prescribed uniform consistently.
- Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the dining outlet at all times.
- Remain informed about all hotel facilities to assist and guide guests effectively.
- Perform daily inventory checks of supplies and equipment.
- Carry out additional side duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in a waitress or guest-facing hospitality role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Good understanding of food and beverage service and preparation techniques.
- Capacity to efficiently manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and dedication to cleanliness and guest satisfaction standards.
- Neat and presentable appearance aligning with hotel protocols.
