Role overview

This position is a senior, hands-on performance marketing role focused on user acquisition for the Kuwait and Bahrain cluster. The role reports to the Head of UA and is responsible for running paid campaigns end to end, improving performance day by day, and helping deliver cluster growth goals. It calls for strong execution, a test-and-learn mindset, and the ability to turn performance data into practical actions.

Campaign management

  • Plan, run, and improve paid acquisition activity across paid search, paid social, and app install channels for Kuwait and Bahrain.
  • Build full-funnel campaigns, including audience selection, bid strategy, creative experimentation, and alignment with landing pages.
  • Track daily results and make quick optimizations to stay on target for CPI, CPA, and ROAS.
  • Handle budget allocation carefully and ensure pacing and spend reporting are accurate.

Testing and growth

  • Set up and run structured A/B experiments on creatives, audiences, and bidding approaches to lift performance.
  • Spot new channel opportunities and suggest test-and-learn ideas to the Head of UA.
  • Keep up with platform changes, algorithm updates, and current best practices across major ad platforms.

Reporting and collaboration

  • Create regular performance reports with clear findings and recommendations for the Head of UA and regional teams.
  • Work with the UA Analyst in the Efficiency pod to support accurate attribution and cohort analysis.
  • Coordinate with the Creatives team to brief, test, and refine performance creatives for Kuwait and Bahrain audiences.
  • Share insights and learnings with the wider UA organization across clusters to help build best practices.

Experience and profile

  • At least 4 years of direct experience in paid user acquisition or performance marketing.
  • Proven background managing substantial paid budgets across at least two major platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Apple Search Ads, or programmatic.
  • Experience working in the GCC or wider MENA region is strongly preferred.
  • Mobile app marketing experience is a strong advantage.

Skills and strengths

  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret and report on performance data.
  • Practical experience setting up campaigns, managing bids, and optimizing across multiple ad platforms.
  • Familiarity with mobile measurement partners such as AppsFlyer or Adjust, and with attribution methods.
  • Comfortable working independently and handling several campaigns at once in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong written and spoken English; Arabic is an added plus.
