Position Summary
The Senior Territory Service Representative (Senior TSR) in Operations, based in Agra, is charged with ensuring prompt and efficient pickup and delivery of shipments within designated areas. This role demands excellence in service quality, route management, and customer interaction while mentoring junior team members to maintain high operational standards and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct timely pickups and deliveries in assigned territories meeting service level agreements.
- Handle shipments carefully during loading, transit, and delivery ensuring accuracy.
- Plan delivery routes to enhance productivity and maximize customer reach.
- Achieve high first-attempt delivery rates and minimize operational errors.
- Assist branch operations during peak or emergency periods.
- Deliver outstanding customer service, representing Blue Dart professionally at all times.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and business accounts.
- Address routine customer concerns and escalate complex issues appropriately.
- Manage Cash on Delivery (COD) collections accurately, ensuring timely remittance per company protocols.
- Complete and verify shipment documentation with zero errors.
- Use handheld devices and digital tools proficiently to scan shipments and update system records promptly.
- Adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations.
- Support onboarding and on-the-job training for new TSRs; share best practices and mentor peers.
- Maintain vehicle condition and related statutory documents, ensuring operational readiness.
- Exemplify professional appearance, punctuality, discipline, and adherence to company policies.
- Collaborate effectively with shift managers, supervisors, and other operational teams to meet productivity goals.
- Report incidents and unsafe practices immediately; uphold a zero tolerance for safety violations.
Candidate Profile
- Educational Qualification: Minimum 8th standard pass; 10th pass or higher preferred.
- Experience: 3 to 6 years in courier, express logistics, last-mile delivery, or field operations with demonstrated skills in route management, COD handling, and customer interaction.
- Technical proficiency in handling handheld scanners or digital delivery applications is advantageous.
- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid two-wheeler or four-wheeler driving license.
- Ownership of a two-wheeler is required when using a personal vehicle according to company policies.
- Physical fitness to perform field duties and flexibility to work across shifts, including weekends and holidays.
