Job description

Role overview

DHL IT Services is a global technology organization with more than 5,600 IT professionals, focused on building sustainable digital solutions that keep logistics moving worldwide. This role sits within the Human Resources function and is centered on end-to-end talent acquisition for the India region. The position calls for an experienced recruiter who can help shape hiring strategy, strengthen candidate pipelines, and support the company’s growth through effective and modern recruitment practices.

The ideal professional will combine strong operational recruitment expertise with the ability to use AI-enabled and innovative sourcing methods. You will work closely with hiring managers and business leaders, manage the full hiring cycle, and help deliver a high-quality experience for both candidates and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Work with hiring managers and business stakeholders to understand workforce needs, align hiring approaches, and build recruitment plans that support business goals and timelines.
  • Own the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, candidate evaluation, and offer handling.
  • Create and run sourcing plans across channels such as professional networks, social media, referrals, talent databases, campus hiring, internal mobility, and other recruitment platforms.
  • Identify, connect with, and maintain engagement with both active and passive candidates to build strong pipelines for current and future requirements.
  • Conduct detailed interviews and assessments to evaluate skills, relevant experience, competencies, and culture fit.
  • Ensure candidates receive a smooth, professional experience through prompt communication, efficient process handling, and strong coordination with stakeholders.
  • Maintain ATS records, keep recruitment data accurate, and ensure hiring activities align with company policies and applicable employment regulations.
  • Share hiring insights, market knowledge, and recruitment recommendations with hiring managers to support better decisions.
  • Track recruitment metrics, study hiring patterns, and identify ways to improve speed, quality, and effectiveness of hiring.
  • Support employer branding, talent acquisition initiatives, and process improvement efforts as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in any discipline.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in IT recruitment or a closely related area.
  • Strong background in end-to-end talent acquisition, preferably in IT or a global capability center environment within a multinational or fast-moving corporate setup.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence and build strong relationships across levels.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for working with candidates and stakeholders from different cultural backgrounds.
  • Ability to manage several hiring needs at once while maintaining accuracy, quality, and attention to detail.
  • Strong sourcing capability with knowledge of multiple recruitment channels and talent mapping techniques.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret hiring data and convert it into practical recruitment actions.
  • Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems, recruitment tools, and sourcing platforms.

Benefits and additional information

  • Hybrid work arrangement that offers a balance between office collaboration and work-from-home flexibility.
  • 42 days of annual leave, in addition to public and national holidays.
  • Medical insurance for self, spouse, and two children, with an option for voluntary parental insurance for parents or parents-in-law at a nominal premium, including coverage for pre-existing conditions.
  • Access to in-house training programs and professional as well as technical certification support.

Location

Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.

Work style

This is a full-time role based onsite, with hybrid flexibility mentioned in the benefits.
