Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Supply Chain Manager to oversee supply chain activities end to end for a leading organization serving the aerospace, defense, and industrial manufacturing sectors. The position is based in Carson, California and Huntsville, Arkansas, and relocation expenses will be covered. This is a full-time onsite role focused on building and executing supply chain strategy across procurement, planning, inventory, supplier performance, logistics, and cross-functional coordination to improve cost, quality, delivery, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct purchasing, planning, inventory control, logistics, warehouse operations, and supplier management.
- Lead S&OP / SIOP activities and ensure demand, supply, and production plans are aligned.
- Manage supplier sourcing, negotiation, development, and performance monitoring.
- Improve inventory turnover, material movement, and on-time delivery performance.
- Support new product introduction and readiness for production launch.
- Ensure effective use of ERP and MRP systems and drive supply chain process enhancements.
- Build and guide strong teams while promoting operational excellence and Lean practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field.
- At least 5–8+ years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain functions.
- Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP platforms and S&OP processes.
- Strong analytical ability, communication skills, and team leadership capability.
- Experience in aerospace, electronics, manufacturing, or supplier management is preferred.
- APICS, CPSM, or ISM certifications are preferred.
