About the Role
As a Senior Specialist in Technology Procurement at Qiddiya Investment Company, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing and acquiring the technology products and services essential to building a premier entertainment, cultural, and lifestyle destination. This position involves managing vendor partnerships, performing market analysis, overseeing procurement cycles, and ensuring alignment with both company policies and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire technology procurement lifecycle including sourcing, evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and monitoring purchase orders.
- Establish and nurture strong vendor relationships to guarantee quality, cost efficiency, and timely deliveries.
- Conduct in-depth market research to stay abreast of emerging technology trends and advise on strategic procurement decisions.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with corporate policies and local regulations.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as IT, project management, finance, and legal to synchronize procurement activities with organizational goals.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive procurement documentation and reports.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement efficiencies.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
- At least three years of professional experience in technology procurement or related supply chain functions.
- Strong expertise in procurement processes, contract management, and negotiation techniques.
- Proficiency with procurement software platforms like SAP, Ariba, or similar systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with adept negotiation abilities.
- Competent in analyzing market trends and applying cost-effective procurement strategies.
- Must be fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabian business practices and local market conditions is advantageous.
