Senior Specialist, Supply Chain

Role Overview

As a Senior Specialist in Supply Chain, you will help steer inventory planning, demand forecasting, and allocation for Carnival’s shipboard retail network, shore-side warehouses, and eCommerce channels. The role uses established business rules and independent judgment to keep stock at the right levels, shape replenishment decisions, reduce aged inventory, control costs, and support retail revenue growth.

You will work closely with vendors, warehouse teams, shipboard retail colleagues, and internal partners to improve inventory efficiency and keep operations aligned. This is an analytical, hands-on supply chain role that contributes to retail performance and ongoing improvement across the fleet.

What You’ll Do

• Support inventory planning, forecasting, and allocation across shipboard stores, shore warehouses, Celebration Key, and online channels to keep products available in line with demand.
• Use approved frameworks to guide inventory levels, replenishment approaches, and allocation choices that support operational and business goals.
• Coordinate with vendors and warehouse teams to help new items and reorders move on time, while tracking stock, aging inventory, transfers, and receipts.
• Review inventory patterns and results to recommend actions for slow-moving items and to improve sales, stock turns, and overall inventory health.
• Build, automate, and improve inventory and sales reporting using tools such as Excel, Tableau, Hyperion, Shopify, and related systems.
• Analyze sell-through, demand trends, and aging stock to surface insights that help reduce excess inventory and improve inventory turns.
• Work with Merchandising, Analytics, and leadership teams to strengthen performance reporting, simplify workflows, and improve data visibility.
• Support buying and purchasing activity by helping develop buy recommendations that match demand, sales performance, and inventory strategy.
• Contribute to demand forecasting and replenishment cadence, including regular reorder placement across programs and channels.
• Assist with vendor onboarding, vendor record maintenance, issue resolution, and purchase order execution to keep supply continuity intact.
• Partner with Performance Analytics, IT, Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse, and Finance teams on process improvements that make supply chain and retail operations more efficient.
• Evaluate inventory workflows, reorder systems, and PAR-level strategies to improve inventory positioning across the business.
• Support audits and cycle counts across warehouse and fleet operations to improve inventory accuracy and reduce variances.
• Review merchandise and retail supply invoices for accuracy and alignment with purchasing and inventory activity.
• Coordinate inventory needs across departments, participate in vendor meetings and planning sessions, and provide insights for product development and negotiation discussions.

Work Location and Conditions

This is an in-office role based in South Florida. Employees are expected to work from a designated Carnival office Monday through Thursday, with work from home permitted on Fridays. Candidates must already be based in, or be willing to move to, the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area. Travel is expected to be less than 25%, with shipboard travel likely. The work environment is climate-controlled with minimal health or safety risk, and the role requires sitting at a desk or computer for extended periods.

Compensation and Benefits
