Job description
About Wise
Wise is a technology company with a global mission: to make moving and managing money across borders faster, simpler, and more affordable. The team is focused on helping people and businesses send, spend, and receive money internationally with less friction and better value.
Role Overview
The People team is hiring an experienced Senior Reward Partner to help shape the next stage of Wise’s reward strategy as the business continues to expand. In this role, you will build the frameworks leaders use to make well-informed compensation decisions and help strengthen the overall reward offering. You will also identify ways to improve reward processes and increase the impact of the reward function.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a broad mix of reward work, including the design, planning, and rollout of compensation and benefits programmes.
- Run benchmarking across multiple functions and locations, and help develop or refine pay structures and guidelines that support competitiveness, fairness, and compliance.
- Work with stakeholders to support the annual budgeting process and the annual salary review cycle.
- Deliver high-value reward initiatives that help Wise scale its reward frameworks alongside company growth.
- Partner with business leaders and People colleagues around the world to move reward priorities forward.
- Act as a contact point for market pricing, job evaluation, and analysis with recommendations on compensation and benefits.
- Track reward market trends, assess options, and suggest updates that keep Wise’s policies aligned with best practice.
- Create and coordinate communications that help leaders and employees understand reward programmes.
What This Role Offers
- The chance to contribute in a high-impact, fast-growing global environment where you can bring your own ideas and approach to solving reward challenges.
- Opportunities to use data to address compensation issues and support attraction and retention goals.
- Exposure to building practical frameworks and processes from the ground up in a company that is still evolving its approach.
What You’ll Need
- Strong depth and breadth of reward knowledge, especially compensation benchmarking using multiple external datasets and survey tools, plus understanding of benefits, equity, stock, and related topics.
- Experience in a fast-moving environment, with the ability to work through uncertainty, changing priorities, and multi-jurisdictional and culturally varied requirements.
- Proven ability to lead reward projects through to completion by defining the problem, planning the work, and delivering results.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with leaders and leadership teams.
- Strong analytical and influencing ability, with the skill to turn large data sets into clear insights and present them effectively using Excel and other tools.
Additional Information
Wise values diversity, equity, and inclusion and believes stronger teams are built through a mix of backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences. The company aims to create an environment where every team member feels respected, empowered to contribute, and supported in their career growth.
