Role overview
ADCB’s Private Banking division serves affluent and high-net-worth clients with a complete range of banking and investment support. The team focuses on helping clients manage their borrowing, investment, and long-term wealth needs through tailored solutions, including complex lending structures and personalised wealth preservation planning.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the acquisition of new-to-bank clients and help capture service synergies to meet targets and support the department’s profitability.
- Deliver daily banking support and relationship management that meets or exceeds client expectations.
- Handle client concerns promptly and work toward timely issue resolution.
- Review client feedback to spot opportunities for new product ideas and coordinate with internal specialists to source suitable solutions.
- Look for cross-sell opportunities and collaborate with internal teams to provide relevant offerings to clients.
- Maintain strong control standards by reducing transaction errors, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and following all applicable regulations, policies, and guidelines to protect the bank from credit, legal, reputational, and other risks.
- Follow organisational and departmental procedures, instructions, and operating standards consistently to deliver the expected level of service to customers and stakeholders.
- Manage personal performance in line with the bank’s people policies and working practices to contribute effectively to business outcomes.
- Apply the bank’s service standards and customer promise in all internal and external interactions.
Candidate profile
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a commercial or universal bank, in a client-facing relationship management role serving high-net-worth customers and handling client transactions across businesses.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a closely related discipline.
- Associate Wealth Manager Programme (AWM) qualification.
- Strong client service and acquisition capability.
- Ability to build networks across different stakeholder groups.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Comfortable using data-led analysis to secure support for new ideas and initiatives.
- Strong written and spoken English.
