Job description

About Bluecore Residential

Bluecore Residential is a privately owned real estate investment and property operations company that has been active since 2004. The organization has owned and managed more than 20,000 units in fast-growing secondary markets. Its operating model combines property management, asset management, and advanced data analytics powered by proprietary technology. The culture emphasizes speed, transparency, accountability, and practical problem-solving rather than heavy bureaucracy.

This role is suited to a senior leader who brings a growth-oriented mindset, strong execution, and the ability to improve portfolio performance in a changing environment.

Role overview

The Senior Regional Manager will lead a portfolio of 6 to 10 conventional multifamily Class A assets totaling about 2,000 units. The position is remote, with an ideal home base in Nashville, TN, Raleigh, NC, or Atlanta, GA. Travel is required up to 75% of the time. The role reports to the Senior Vice President of Property Management.

What you will do

You will provide strong leadership across the assigned portfolio, raise performance standards, and focus on results. A major part of the job is to develop capable property managers, upgrade underperforming teams, and recruit strong talent with support from the recruitment function.

The company expects leaders to work with transparency, raise concerns openly, and contribute ideas about what is and is not working on a weekly basis. You will be expected to coach managers, hold them accountable, inspect communities frequently, verify compliance, and continuously improve people, product, and pricing decisions.

What success looks like

The ideal candidate knows how to take communities from lease-up instability to long-term operational stability. You should be comfortable protecting net operating income, phasing out concessions at the right time, and adjusting pricing without damaging occupancy or asset value. You should also be able to build strong teams quickly, identify talent gaps, and place the right people in the right roles.

Bluecore values leaders who use technology as a performance tool. Familiarity with systems such as Yardi and rent-optimization software is important, along with a direct and candid communication style. The company wants someone who coaches individually, develops independent thinking in property managers, and is willing to challenge decisions when needed for portfolio success.

Requirements

The position calls for at least 4 years of multifamily property management experience in a regional leadership role, specifically with Class A assets. Candidates should have a history of managing portfolios of 1,500 or more units while meeting or exceeding budget expectations.

Strong Yardi expertise is required, along with hands-on experience using rent-maximizing software to improve NOI. The employer is also looking for someone with a strong talent-sourcing instinct, high-level interpersonal skills, and the ability to give upward feedback constructively. Because the role involves extensive travel, the candidate should live near a major airport and be ready to spend up to 75% of the time on site.

Benefits

Compensation is described as market competitive and based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications. The package also includes performance-based bonus eligibility of up to 10% of annual salary, paid twice a year.

Additional benefits include unlimited DTO starting on day one, 10 fully paid holidays, 8 paid volunteer hours annually, a 25% rent discount on any unit, medical coverage options (PPO and HDHP), FSA, HSA with employer match, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, an employee assistance program with 24/7 confidential counseling and advisory support, and a 401(k) with traditional and Roth options plus a 25% company match up to 6%.

Approved certifications such as CAM, CPM, CAPS, and CPO are fully reimbursed. The company also highlights its tech-enabled, transparent culture and encourages open discussion, healthy debate, and upward feedback. Equal Employment Opportunity is stated.
