The company holds certifications and approvals such as HACCP, FDA (USA), ISO 14001, and IFS Standards.
Role Summary
This position calls for a seasoned and performance-focused Senior Quality Assurance Manager to oversee the company’s Quality Assurance and Food Safety operations. The role is centered on meeting international food safety benchmarks, customer specifications, and export compliance requirements, while also strengthening product quality and process effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate all quality assurance and quality control activities within seafood processing operations.
- Maintain compliance with HACCP, GMP, SSOP, BRCGS, ISO 22000, and all relevant statutory requirements.
- Build, deploy, and sustain quality management and food safety systems.
- Manage checks on incoming raw materials, controls during processing, laboratory evaluation, and release of finished goods.
- Arrange and support customer, certification, and regulatory audits, ensuring observations are closed within the required timeframe.
- Examine quality deviations, customer grievances, and non-conformities, and implement corrective as well as preventive actions.
- Track quality performance indicators and lead improvements in product quality, food safety, and operating efficiency.
- Guide, coach, and develop QA/QC teams through training and performance oversight.
- Work closely with Production, Procurement, Maintenance, and Export functions to deliver quality targets.
- Keep current with international seafood rules and customer-driven requirements.
Eligibility
Applicants should have a B.Sc in Food Technology.
