Job description
About the Role
Studio Paolo Ferrari is hiring a Senior Project Manager to steer interior design or architecture projects from early concept through final delivery. The role calls for someone who can safeguard the design intent while driving precision, quality, and strong execution across every phase.
You will work alongside a highly accomplished team on sophisticated, detail-driven projects for globally recognized brands and clients. The position is also an opportunity to help shape and support a collaborative, high-performance studio environment.
What You'll Do
Lead multiple complex mid-to-large-scale projects through the full construction administration lifecycle, ensuring work stays aligned with schedule, scope, budget, and design goals.
Serve as the main point of contact between clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, and vendors, while coordinating day-to-day project delivery and communication.
Guide the construction administration process end to end, including document updates, RFIs, site instructions, change orders, site reports, meeting notes, deficiency reviews, mock-up inspections, shop drawing review, item tracking, progress logs, correspondence, and status updates.
Partner closely with designers to translate design intent into clear documentation, material decisions, and implementation on site.
Oversee site and construction activities, with a strong focus on project leadership, technical accuracy, and timely resolution of issues.
Travel as needed for site visits, shop inspections, and client meetings, including international travel when required by project needs.
What We're Looking For
A diploma, bachelor’s degree, or master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
8–10+ years of project management experience in interior design, architecture, or a closely related area; experience with luxury brands or high-end clients is an advantage.
At least 3 years of senior-level construction administration experience, including leadership of CA execution, site supervision, and project delivery through construction.
Comfort with international building codes and/or local Ontario Building Code requirements.
Strong command of project and client management, budget and cost control, scheduling, technical documentation, organization, and process-driven work methods.
Proficiency with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Procore, Oracle Aconex, BIM360, Monday.com, and similar project management platforms. Revit and SketchUp are beneficial.
Professional credentials such as PMP, NCIDQ, or LEED AP are welcomed but not mandatory.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a collaborative leadership style, sound judgement, discretion, accountability, and a strong eye for craftsmanship and aesthetics.
Additional Information
This is a full-time, in-office role based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Applicants must already be based in Canada and hold a valid work visa.
