Role Overview
This position works closely with the Head of Wealth Management and the Head of Wealth Products to oversee the current wealth product suite and customer portfolio. The role also focuses on strengthening the Wealth Management customer value proposition across client segments through product creation, market research, third-party supplier coordination, pricing, and product lifecycle management from concept to launch.
The role requires regular collaboration with internal teams and external partners across the bank to support smooth business operations and deliver financial as well as non-financial performance goals.
Core Responsibilities
- Support the wealth strategy and help execute business goals across products, processes, people, and platforms to expand the client base, revenue, and assets under management.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of structured solutions, including development, structuring, pricing, promotion, and execution with issuer partners.
- Help build financial targets using portfolio analysis, performance patterns, and growth projections.
- Design and structure internal incentive campaigns that boost frontline engagement while staying within budgeted acquisition costs.
- Track performance against budget on a regular basis and quickly address any gaps or improvement opportunities.
- Build team capability by training wealth advisors and frontline teams on wealth fundamentals and new investment offerings.
- Work closely with external asset managers to keep the wealth proposition competitive on pricing, risk spread, and alignment with market practices.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports and analyses for retail leadership on portfolio productivity and performance.
- Support digital initiatives that improve controls, simplify execution, and ensure compliance with risk, audit, and regulatory standards.
- Conduct periodic interactions with wealth clients and market participants to deliver financial education and empowerment sessions.
- Plan and run marketing initiatives that raise market awareness and support client acquisition through clear communication of the wealth value proposition.
- Maintain effective processes and controls to meet regulations and bank procedures while reducing financial, operational, and reputational risks.

Qualifications and Experience
- At least 15 years of professional experience in a bank or financial institution.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in wealth management.
- Background in a relevant discipline such as economics, finance, accounting, or business management.
- Bachelor’s degree of four years or higher is required; a master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
- External wealth management certification from a recognized body, such as CISI Level 3 or an equivalent qualification.
