Job description
About the Role
Snowflake is looking for a Senior Product Manager to own its Streaming Platform in Berlin. This role sits at the heart of the move toward real-time data, helping shape how data in motion is made dependable, analyzable, and usable for AI-driven workflows. The platform underpins modern applications, operational analytics, and agent-to-agent pipelines, and the work is intended for someone who enjoys solving foundational problems at scale.
Snowflake describes its environment as one built for AI-native thinkers: people who are naturally curious, use AI as a trusted partner in problem-solving, and prefer fast experimentation over rigid process. The company values low-ego team players who can adapt quickly, test new ideas, and help redefine how work gets done.
What You’ll Do
- Set the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Snowflake’s streaming capabilities.
- Turn difficult customer problems into well-defined product bets and delivered features.
- Work closely with engineering on system architecture, trade-offs, and implementation.
- Spend time with customers and users to identify gaps, pain points, and high-value needs.
- Partner with design so advanced workflows remain intuitive and usable.
- Coordinate with go-to-market teams to launch offerings that connect with customers.
- Align stakeholders across ingestion, platform, analytics, and AI teams.
- Make disciplined prioritization decisions based on impact, scale, and customer value.
What Snowflake Is Looking For
- Hands-on product experience in data infrastructure, distributed systems, or real-time platforms.
- Solid knowledge of streaming systems and event-driven architecture.
- Exposure to Flink or a comparable system is a strong advantage.
- Ability to collaborate closely with engineers and evaluate design and architecture choices.
- Comfort operating in ambiguous settings and helping define direction from first principles.
- Clear communication skills and a practical, customer-oriented mindset.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
- A master’s degree is considered a plus.
Why This Role
Snowflake emphasizes work on large-scale systems used by thousands of customers, with direct influence on how modern businesses operate and build AI-powered applications. The team values clarity, speed with accountability, and technical excellence, while giving this role meaningful room to shape a platform customers rely on deeply.
Equal Opportunity
Snowflake states that it is an equal-opportunity employer and considers all qualified applicants without regard to protected characteristics such as age, color, gender identity or expression, marital status, national origin, disability, veteran status, race, religion, pregnancy, sexual orientation, or other legally protected attributes.
Growth and Culture
The company notes that it is growing quickly and expanding its team to support that growth. It seeks people who challenge conventional thinking, help accelerate innovation, and want to build a future both for themselves and for Snowflake.
