You'll be responsible for managing the product roadmap, translating athlete and business requirements into actionable priorities, and steering projects from discovery through launch and enhancement.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead the product strategy and manage the roadmap for Nike Run Club (NRC) and Nike Training Club (NTC) applications in partnership with multiple departments.
  • Identify areas to enhance athlete engagement such as workout discovery, coaching guidance, habit formation, activity tracking, and achievement celebration.
  • Engage stakeholders by providing updates, collecting feedback, managing trade-offs, and ensuring product decisions align with athlete needs, brand goals, business impact, technical feasibility, and operational readiness.
  • Drive product discovery and definition activities within your squad and with related teams, including outlining athlete journeys, documenting requirements, defining acceptance criteria, and backlog prioritization.
  • Develop seamless experiences incorporating coaching, training plans, guided activities, wearable device integrations, personalized recommendations, and community challenges to motivate athletes across all levels.
  • Coordinate with global, distributed teams to align efforts, manage dependencies, and support release and optimization processes tailored for various markets.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in business, product management, computer science, data science, sports science, or relevant field, or equivalent combinations of education, experience, or training.
  • Have at least 3 to 5 years of product management experience, preferably with consumer mobile applications, digital fitness, connected health, membership, coaching, content, or engagement platforms.
  • Show enthusiasm for sports and movement, striving to empower athletes at various levels with inspiring and intuitive digital solutions.
  • Exhibit strong capability in translating athlete insights, behavioral data, training patterns, coaching demands, and market tendencies into clear product requirements, user stories, success metrics, and prioritized plans.
  • Possess demonstrated success delivering consumer-facing products that enhance onboarding, habit development, personalization, motivation, community interaction, content discovery, or activity tracking.
  • Have skills in defining product strategy, managing prioritization, building business cases, and influencing cross-functional partners including product, design, engineering, marketing, analytics, content, sport, and leadership teams.
  • Use data and research effectively to interpret athlete behavior, uncover opportunities, measure engagement and retention, assess feature performance, and guide product decisions.
  • Understand mobile app product development processes, including iOS and Android platforms, integrations, experimentation, personalization, privacy, accessibility, performance, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design to evaluate solutions, clarify scopes, handle dependencies, support agile delivery, and ensure high-quality experiences globally.
  • Exhibit excellence in customer discovery and stakeholder engagement by identifying athlete needs, validating assumptions, and converting feedback into actionable decisions.
  • Communicate clearly in both written and verbal forms to influence senior leaders and stakeholders through compelling product storytelling.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of modern machine learning and generative AI sufficient to engage substantively with engineers and data scientists about models, evaluation, data pipelines, and product trade-offs.

Preferred Experience

  • Background in digital fitness, wellness, coaching, activity tracking, wearable tech integrations, training plans, guided content, challenges, achievements, or motivation features centered around community.
  • Familiarity with products like Nike Run Club or Nike Training Club or similar platforms combining coaching, content, personalization, community, and progress tracking.
