Role Overview
We seek a Senior Product Manager responsible for a vital internal platform that manages carrier contracting, commission processing, and agency operations at Spark. This role combines product discovery and execution, requiring translating complex regulatory and operational processes into intuitive, scalable solutions. The position involves close collaboration with engineering, design, and operations teams and communication with senior executives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own product areas critical to operational scaling.
- Partner with engineering and design teams to define specifications, deliver quality features, and increase product adoption.
- Maintain continuous feedback loops with operations users, treating them as key product stakeholders with unique personas and goals.
- Conduct user research, analyze product metrics, and run experiments to identify and prioritize impactful enhancements.
- Serve as subject matter expert in domain, aligning platform development with broader product strategy.
- Bring clarity and structure to complex, ambiguous challenges and workflows.
Candidate Profile
- Proven success managing product domains, preferably in B2B SaaS or platform contexts.
- Skilled at writing precise product specifications and balancing agility with rigor.
- Effective in managing cross-functional initiatives and articulating decisions and trade-offs clearly.
- Data-driven decision-maker using dashboards, SQL, or collaborating closely with data teams.
- Experienced across multiple product launch cycles with a strong ability to set objectives, measure impact, and iterate.
- Comfortable owning projects in ambiguous, rapid environments, demonstrating proactive ownership.
- Empathetic to various internal and external stakeholders, valuing their perspectives.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated annual base salary for this role ranges from $170,000 to $190,000, depending on experience and qualifications. The total compensation package also includes equity options and a comprehensive benefits program designed to support employee well-being and success.
