Job description

Overview

A client of Beacon Hill is hiring a Senior Product Manager to drive an ecommerce program centered on a direct-to-consumer model. This role is fully remote, but it requires availability during Central Time (CST) business hours.

What you will do

  • Set the product direction, define the roadmap, and guide feature releases to deliver a strong end-to-end customer experience.
  • Maintain and refine a feature and enabler backlog that supports product growth, architectural progress, and discovery work.
  • Own overall product well-being, including technical health, and communicate risks clearly as priorities shift.
  • Recommend sequencing and prioritization of investments to maximize business value.
  • Work as an individual contributor while coordinating with Product Owners, Domain Owners, and Analysts to drive measurable outcomes.
  • Help build a healthy team environment by coaching, guiding, and supporting high-performing teams.
  • Convert product and capability roadmaps into practical short-term delivery plans.
  • Use data analysis and big data concepts to uncover customer behavior patterns and produce actionable insights.
  • Turn business objectives into analytical problem statements that support growth opportunities.
  • Engage with technical details when needed and collaborate across technical and business functions.
  • Present complex information to executives and non-technical stakeholders in a clear, concise way.
  • Work with cloud-based technologies and solutions designed to scale.
  • Communicate recommendations to senior stakeholders and internal clients, mentor junior team members, and serve as the main point of contact for senior business leaders.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in product management with a track record of turning roadmaps into executable delivery plans.
  • Hands-on ability to manage product backlogs, prioritize work, and balance business value with technical considerations.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams across both business and technical domains.
  • Comfort working with big data concepts, analytics, and data-driven decision making.
  • Ability to understand technical architecture and probe into technical details when necessary.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including executive-level presentation skills.
  • Experience with cloud technologies and building scalable systems.
  • Ability to work remotely while supporting Central Time Zone hours.
