Job description

About the company

Affirm is building a more transparent way to access credit, focused on fairness and simplicity. Its model lets people shop now and pay later without surprise charges or compounding interest.

Role overview

Affirm is looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead card acquisition for new channels and help grow the Affirm Card. You will uncover promising growth opportunities, test them quickly, and scale the ones that work. The role has major influence on how customers discover and start using the card, with ownership of acquisition and activation results that can be measured directly.

Key responsibilities

  • Set the strategy and sequencing for new card acquisition channels, including the roadmap, assumptions, and success measures.
  • Work with Engineering and Design to ship new acquisition touchpoints and create smooth, high-converting onboarding flows.
  • Build and run acquisition initiatives such as referral programs and partner experiments, with clear impact on CAC and LTV.
  • Manage the full funnel from end to end, including weekly acquisition volume, 30-day activation, step-by-step drop-off analysis, and incrementality testing.
  • Partner with Risk, Compliance, Marketing, and the Card Foundations team to coordinate dependencies and support safe, scalable growth.
  • Keep testing and refining new distribution ideas to improve conversion and grow the cardholder base.

What the company is looking for

  • At least 4 years of product management experience, preferably with ownership of growth or distribution channels.
  • Experience shipping consumer finance or other regulated products, along with comfort working with Risk/Credit, Legal, and Compliance.
  • Strong understanding of experimentation, attribution, incrementality, and CAC-to-LTV optimization.
  • Solid product judgment for intent-driven user experiences across web, app, and partner integrations.
  • Analytical ability with self-serve data tools such as SQL and Amplitude, plus a strong bias toward shipping quickly and learning fast.
  • Proven cross-functional leadership, including experience guiding embedded engineering and design teams.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Competitive vacation and holiday time off.
  • Employee stock purchase plan with the opportunity to buy company shares at a discount.
