Job description

About the Company

Justlife builds a digital platform that helps households across the UAE and Saudi Arabia manage home services such as cleaning, beauty, handyman support, and healthcare visits. The company has been expanding since 2015 and serves a large consumer base as well as the service professionals who complete jobs through the platform.

About the Role

This position is for a Senior Product Designer who can balance strong design craft with fast execution. The role is centered on creating experiences used by millions of people across the GCC, with ownership across the full product journey rather than just visual polish.

You will shape the end-to-end design of the product, including research, user flows, prototyping, and the final experience after launch. The role reports to the Director of Product and works closely with product and engineering teams to influence both what gets built and why it matters.

The work covers the entire marketplace ecosystem: customers making bookings and payments, service professionals managing their schedules and assignments, and internal teams coordinating service delivery. Potential product areas include payments, availability, assignment, CRM, fulfilment, and the connected journeys that sit between them.

The company is looking for someone who challenges weak ideas early, contributes to decisions from the start, and focuses on the business and user outcomes behind the interface. The team also expects designers to use AI meaningfully in day-to-day work, from research synthesis through rapid prototyping, as part of a broader move toward an AI-native product process.

Impact and Context

Since 2015, the platform has been digitizing home services across the GCC. It now supports more than 25,000 service professionals and millions of households. The role is positioned as a key contributor to improving a two-sided marketplace experience that is difficult for competitors to replicate by funding alone.

First 6 Months

  • Launch a major product surface such as a funnel, matching flow, or payments experience, owning both UX and UI from concept through release.
  • Conduct competitor and market research to define a strong design standard for the chosen surface.
  • Interview users and service professionals, then translate those insights into design decisions that ship.
  • Integrate AI tools into the design workflow to move more quickly from ideas to high-fidelity prototypes and share that process with the team.

Working Style

  • Prototype quickly, validate early, and refine based on feedback.
  • Use competitive benchmarking to guide design quality.
  • Base decisions on evidence from users and service professionals.
  • Design with systems thinking so patterns remain consistent and reusable.
  • Use AI tools as a practical part of everyday design work.

Candidate Profile

The company is seeking a product designer with a strong track record in consumer mobile, marketplace, or two-sided platform products. A design degree is not required, but a portfolio must clearly demonstrate ownership, decision-making, and measurable outcomes.

Successful candidates will show a benchmark-led approach, the ability to learn from user and crew research, and clear familiarity with AI tools and how they improve speed or quality. Experience in startup or scale-up environments is preferred, as is prior work on marketplace products and AI-assisted design workflows.

Evaluation Process

Applicants are assessed through structured interviews using a shared scorecard. The review focuses on design quality, iteration speed, benchmark analysis, depth of user and crew research, and the ability to work through ambiguity while taking ownership.

Equal Opportunity

Justlife states that it is an equal-opportunity employer and considers applicants regardless of background, nationality, or gender.

Additional Information

The company operates across 10+ cities in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, has 200+ full-time employees, supports 25,000+ service professionals, and has delivered over 15 million sessions. The broader goal is to improve the product experience to support significant future growth.

Applicants who have improved conversion in previous work, care about micro-interactions such as response time and tap count, and want their design used by millions across the region are encouraged to apply.

The source text also includes the tag #everydaybette and a JazzHR reference code, which have no bearing on the role itself.

No design degree is required; a strong portfolio is expected to demonstrate capability.
