Senior Procurement Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Procurement Officer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This position is part of an Emiratization initiative and is open exclusively to UAE Nationals. The role involves managing comprehensive procurement operations in line with company policies and procedures to ensure optimal sourcing and supplier relations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire procurement cycle ensuring adherence to approved policies and procedures.
• Assess procurement requests, verifying all necessary approvals and documentation are complete.
• Develop and manage the preparation of Requests for Quotations (RFQs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and conduct tendering activities.
• Analyze commercial and technical proposals and compile detailed recommendation reports to support decision-making.
• Conduct negotiations on pricing, terms, and agreements with suppliers to maximize value for the organization.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least five years of professional experience in procurement, including sourcing, contract management, and developing strong supplier relationships.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing tender processes, preparing RFQs and RFPs, evaluating bids, and negotiating contracts effectively.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic is essential.

This position is located in Abu Dhabi within the Al Falah area, and candidates must be UAE Nationals in alignment with the Emiratization program requirements.
