Role overview
The company is looking for a creative, highly motivated Senior Print Designer to join its Sydney team. The role focuses on developing graphic and textile prints across all product categories and shaping the visual direction of the brand.
What you will do
- Take ownership of White Fox’s overall print and graphic direction, building seasonal creative concepts and maintaining consistency across product ranges.
- Create original textile and graphic artwork that is trend-aware, commercially relevant, and visually elevated.
- Analyse international trends and convert them into concept boards, colour palettes, and artwork stories aligned with the brand.
- Work with the Design and Buying teams to research, develop, and refine artwork concepts.
- Coordinate with Product Developers on print placement, sizing, and colour choices.
- Set up artwork files and contact sheets for smooth delivery to factories.
- Manage project briefs and output expectations for freelance Graphic Designers.
- Keep the internal strike-off library organised and accessible for the wider team.
- Partner with the Buying team to ensure creative decisions also support commercial goals.
- Consistently bring fresh, forward-looking ideas that expand creative boundaries.
- Handle several design projects at once in a busy, deadline-driven environment.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior or highly specialised textiles/graphic design position in the fashion or apparel sector.
- Fast, efficient, and able to produce work to a high standard under time constraints.
- Self-driven, well organised, and proactive in managing tasks and priorities.
- Strong creative judgement with the ability to produce both commercial and premium design outcomes.
- Solid research ability and a strong understanding of global print, graphic, and cultural trends.
- Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
- Sharp attention to detail and awareness of current market trends.
- Advanced proficiency on Mac systems and in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate independently or within a team.
- Prior experience in the apparel or fashion industry.
