  • A customer-first mindset with the ability to help teams understand customer experience and expectations.
  • High accountability and follow-through to deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Analytical thinking to review information, identify key facts, compare options, and assess risks and benefits.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, build, and oversee transportation processes from fulfillment centers to sortation hubs and onward to the last-mile delivery network.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a motivated workforce for sort hubs with support from HR and training teams, while meeting city-level operational needs and maintaining high standards for quality and productivity.
  • Ensure the sites have sufficient capacity to handle peak volumes efficiently.
  • Work closely with Finance, Delivery Stations, fulfillment centers, and project teams on city operations matters.
  • Conduct team performance reviews and support team members through coaching and mentoring.
  • Continuously refine processes to improve standards, remove waste, and eliminate unnecessary work.

  • Run daily stand-ups, weekly business reviews, monthly business reviews, and peak preparedness meetings.
  • Use data to uncover performance constraints and apply improvement methods such as Kaizen and continuous improvement.
  • Review and approve the labor plan to balance cost efficiency with strong performance and associate experience.
  • Coach operations managers, encourage them to challenge current practices, and promote a culture of continuous improvement while coordinating with central ACES and other site or regional leaders to adopt best practices.
