Job description
About Red Seat Ventures
Red Seat Ventures is a contemporary media business focused on the creator economy, connecting audiences directly with the personalities they follow. Established in 2015 and brought into Fox Corporation in 2025, the company now operates under Tubi Media Group. It collaborates with prominent talent to build and expand personality-led brands through podcasts, streaming video, newsletters, paid memberships, live experiences, and direct-to-consumer media products.
The organization is growing rapidly with an ambition to become the world’s leading creator economy company. Its platform spans creator services, monetization, events, networks, podcast hosting, subscriptions, video distribution, ad sales, and technology. Current and adjacent brands include Speakeasy, Supercast, CrimeCon, Arena, The First, Crime Junkie, and other creator-led media properties.
Role Overview
Red Seat Ventures is looking for a Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition to act as the primary recruiting partner for the business. This person will lead full-cycle hiring across the company’s lines of business and support a large requisition portfolio spanning sales, revenue operations, creator partnerships, content, production, marketing, events, finance, technology, customer success, and operations.
This is a hands-on recruiting role in a fast-paced environment that blends startup speed with the structure of a larger media organization. Success in the role requires a sense of urgency, strong decision-making, curiosity about the business, and the ability to move efficiently without compromising quality. The right candidate will build credibility with senior stakeholders, evaluate talent across varied functions, balance shifting priorities, and create a strong experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
What You’ll Do
- Own end-to-end recruitment for Red Seat Ventures and manage a broad, high-volume requisition load.
- Recruit across multiple teams, including sales, ad operations, creator partnerships, content, production, marketing, events, finance, technology, product, customer success, and operations.
- Design and run sourcing strategies for roles from coordinator and manager level through senior leadership searches.
- Handle intake meetings, search alignment, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer planning, and closing.
- Set hiring priorities based on urgency, revenue impact, and leadership needs.
- Serve as the main TA contact for Red Seat leadership and hiring managers.
- Turn rapidly changing business requirements into clear hiring plans, role profiles, and timelines.
- Guide managers on market conditions, compensation expectations, candidate supply, and search approach.
- Build a hiring process that stays consistent and high quality while still fitting a startup-like pace.
- Develop a strong understanding of the company’s creator economy model, including monetization, podcasting, video, subscriptions, live events, ad sales, and direct-to-fan platforms.
- Identify and hire people who can succeed in a culture centered on speed, ownership, autonomy, and client service.
- Track hiring progress, risks, blockers, and next steps, and communicate them clearly.
- Use recruiting data, market intelligence, and funnel metrics to refine decisions and hiring strategy.
- Keep requisition, candidate, and pipeline records accurate and up to date in Workday and other recruiting systems.
- Partner with recruiting operations, compensation, HR, finance, and business leaders to support approvals, offers, and hiring execution.
- Help create recruiting processes that can scale while preserving the company’s entrepreneurial culture.
What You Need
- At least 8 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in high-growth media, entertainment, digital, technology, creator economy, ad sales, events, or startup settings.
- Experience handling a large volume of open roles across several functions.
- Strong commercial understanding and the ability to quickly learn different roles, teams, revenue models, and hiring priorities.
- Demonstrated success partnering with senior leaders and hiring managers in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong capability in sourcing, evaluating candidates, managing candidate flow, and closing hires.
- Experience recruiting for a blend of commercial, creative, operational, and technical positions.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- A high level of ownership, urgency, follow-through, and attention to detail.
- Comfort using Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter, Slack, Zoom, and similar recruiting tools.
- A practical, low-ego style with the ability to earn trust quickly and drive results.
- The ability to work quickly without causing disorder, while keeping multiple priorities moving and preserving hiring quality.
- Good judgment on when to challenge, escalate, or resolve issues independently.
- Comfort recruiting for unfamiliar or newly emerging functional areas.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with founders, executives, operators, sales leaders, creative leaders, and technical leaders.
- A structured way of working through ambiguity that supports speed, quality, and business impact.
Nice to Have
- Experience hiring for creator economy, podcasting, subscription, live events, ad sales, or direct-to-fan businesses.
- Background supporting startup-style teams within a larger corporate environment.
- Exposure to businesses similar to Speakeasy, Supercast, CrimeCon, Arena, or comparable creator, media, events, and technology platforms.
- Experience establishing scalable recruiting practices for fast-growing teams.
