About the Company
Paark Business Consultants is associated with a reputed EPC company specializing in the solar energy sector.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement production plans aligned with customer orders, sales forecasts, and manufacturing capabilities.
- Create daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to guarantee timely output.
- Collaborate with departments such as Procurement, Stores, Manufacturing, Quality, Sales, and Logistics to ensure smooth production flow.
- Monitor and forecast material availability, addressing shortages promptly to prevent production interruptions.
- Manage and optimize inventory levels for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
- Analyze production output versus plans and apply corrective measures when required.
- Lead initiatives involving capacity planning, workforce management, and machine utilization.
- Enhance production efficiency through adoption of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen principles, 5S methodology, and ongoing process improvements.
- Evaluate production data, compile MIS reports, and communicate key performance metrics to senior management.
- Ensure targets related to production volume, delivery schedules, and quality standards are consistently met.
- Work closely with engineering and supply chain teams during product launches and upscaling of production.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks to improve productivity and reduce lead times.
Candidate Profile
- Degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech).
- 12 to 15 years of proven experience in Production Planning and Control within large-scale manufacturing settings.
- Relevant industry experience includes Generator Assembly, Genset Manufacturing, Packaging Plants, Automotive or Auto Ancillary sectors, Capital Equipment, or Engineering Manufacturing.
- Proficiency in production scheduling, capacity and inventory management, along with supply chain coordination.
- Practical knowledge of ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing techniques, Kaizen, 5S practices, and continuous improvement processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with effective planning skills.
- Exceptional leadership qualities along with excellent communication and collaborative skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic manufacturing environment focused on operational excellence.
