Job Purpose and Responsibilities

  • Oversee manufacturing operations to guarantee the on-time delivery of high-quality tools.
  • Lead and manage manufacturing teams, establishing work order schedules and performance benchmarks.
  • Monitor and adjust production output to meet targets efficiently.
  • Be accountable for productivity, quality, and staff training metrics, regularly reporting progress and manufacturing data to management and stakeholders.
  • Drive LEAN manufacturing initiatives and lead improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with Engineering on investigations, corrective measures, and non-conformance reviews.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels and training adequacy for all manufacturing personnel.
  • Provide leadership to manufacturing supervisors to meet production requirements with foresight and problem anticipation.
  • Lead programs focused on productivity, safety, quality, and cost enhancements.
  • Maintain compliance with safety protocols, discipline, and workplace housekeeping standards.
  • Promote a strong execution discipline within the team.
  • Offer coaching, mentoring, and conduct performance evaluations, addressing any performance issues as necessary.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in manufacturing management within a capital equipment assembly and testing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven leadership capabilities and ability to motivate teams effectively.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong collaborator who works well across different departments.
  • Solid understanding of LEAN manufacturing principles.
  • Aptitude for leading and working in cross-functional, collaborative teams.
