Job Overview

We seek a Senior Manager for Business Development to join our Europe growth team. This hybrid role based near a European hub will be vital in generating leads and refining our business development strategies across the agency.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to create proposals, pitch materials, and client presentations.
• Lead the management and submission of RFIs and RFPs by engaging agency specialists to produce tailored, compelling responses that highlight Real Chemistry’s strengths.
• Oversee business development activities throughout their lifecycle using Salesforce, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
• Work closely with senior leadership to implement growth strategies and enhance business development consistency and effectiveness.
• Conduct post-pitch reviews, gathering insights to improve win rates and future performance.
• Monitor and report on win rates, pipeline status, and trend analyses to support leadership decisions.
• Communicate progress, potential risks, and resource requirements to senior stakeholders during active business pursuits.
• Facilitate alignment among teams across regions and disciplines to secure seamless execution.
• Contribute to fostering a collaborative, high-performance growth-oriented culture consistent with Real Chemistry’s values.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5 to 7+ years in a medical communications agency, preferably with business development or client service roles involving BD activities.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end RFP, proposal, and pitch workflows.
• Strong skills in writing, storytelling, and developing persuasive presentations.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams with shared objectives and timelines.
• Familiarity with CRM software, especially Salesforce, and business development reporting tools.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple pursuits simultaneously while maintaining composure.
