About the Role
This position sits within a global life sciences organization and focuses on strengthening commercial execution across the field organization in Saudi Arabia and Gulf markets. Based in Riyadh, the role is responsible for improving productivity, sharpening field effectiveness, and ensuring operating processes support broader business priorities. It also involves partnering with cross-functional stakeholders, managing CRM and data workflows, and building capability across the field team to improve customer engagement and business outcomes.

Field Force Effectiveness and Performance Management
- Set up and roll out KPIs that improve productivity and overall field effectiveness across different market segments.
- Review customer and field-force data in depth to produce practical insights that strengthen engagement strategy.
- Own CRM oversight and ensure performance information is visible and useful for decision-making and customer experience improvement.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and IT teams to refine CRM usage, strengthen KPI delivery, and streamline operations.
- Support territory planning and resource allocation using thorough market assessments.
- Create, deploy, and manage incentive programs that encourage and recognize strong field performance.
AI Strategy, Implementation, and Monitoring
- Define the commercial excellence AI roadmap and guide its execution.
- Introduce AI-based tools and projects that support the function.
- Put governance controls in place for compliance, ethics, and data privacy, working with the AI steering committee.
- Track AI results and measure business impact over time.
Learning and Capability Development
- Design and deliver training programs covering product knowledge and the Customer Engagement Model.
- Identify skill gaps across the field team and support managers with tailored coaching and development plans.
- Build a structured field coaching approach that helps frontline managers improve rep performance through value-based conversations and scientific dialogue.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Strategic Alignment
- Partner with Franchise Leads, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Market Access teams to align CEM priorities across the business.
- Serve as a key point of contact for field staff issues and provide guidance on effective system use.
- Assess how well the strategy is working and suggest operational improvements where needed.
Commercial Excellence Execution
- Drive the implementation of commercial excellence initiatives so that activities, processes, and field operations align with company objectives and support efficient, sustainable growth.
InterAct Platform Management
- Manage the preparation and upload of MCCP documents and other field planning data into InterAct.
- Prepare, analyze, and distribute periodic InterAct reports to support data-led field decisions.
- Handle Data Change Requests and organize InterAct-related training and meetings to improve platform usage.
Organizational Structure and Resource Alignment
- Maintain and update organizational hierarchy, territories, and product assignments in Valign to keep resource allocation accurate and aligned with market needs.
- Support the preparation and accurate calculation of SFICP plans in line with company goals.
Sales Data and Materials Management
- Collect and review IMS sales data to support performance analysis and strategic planning.
- Oversee processes related to patient recruitment monitoring and IVA utilization to improve operational efficiency and field support.
Market Research and Analysis
- Coordinate market research activities to identify trends, market size, and growth opportunities.
Decision Intelligence and Leadership Support
- Turn commercial analytics and AI-based insights into clear recommendations for senior leadership and franchise heads to support go-to-market decisions.
Omnichannel Strategy and HCP Journey Design
- Develop and oversee omnichannel engagement strategies that connect field activity with digital touchpoints to create personalized, value-driven healthcare professional journeys.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a pharmaceutical or medical discipline; an MBA is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a similar position.
- Strong understanding of business operations and market dynamics.
- Proven ability to build and sustain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Solid project management, analytical, and forecasting capability.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office and AI tools.
- Excellent spoken and written English and Arabic.
