Role overview

The Senior Manager, Brand Creative Pacific role sits within Nike Pacific Marketing and reports to the Senior Director, Brand Marketing Pacific. In this position, you will lead the Brand Creative team and work closely with teams across Brand, Digital, Retail, Media, Sports Marketing and Communications throughout Pacific, Asia Pacific and Latin America (APLA), as well as Global. You will also oversee a Lead, Brand Creative – Experience and Retail and coordinate agency partners.

You should be confident owning standards for the brand and comfortable leading work across retail, experiences, narrative development, art direction, production and agency management. The role also calls for the ability to adapt global ideas for local audiences while bringing fresh thinking, craft, curiosity and courage to the work.

This position requires a modern approach to social storytelling and proven success creating high-performing TikTok content. The ideal candidate brings both strategic thinking and practical creative leadership, can guide teams with clarity, collaborate effectively, and balance ambitious ideas with commercial discipline. A genuine interest in sport, culture and design is important.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in creative strategy and graphic design.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Design, Marketing, Communications, or a closely related discipline; equivalent combinations of education, experience, and training will also be considered.
  • A strong portfolio that shows leadership across several creative areas.
  • Willingness to travel within Australia and internationally for up to 20% of the time for production and experience activations.

Key responsibilities

  • Set and steer creative strategy and delivery for high-priority brand initiatives across Pacific.
  • Oversee the full creative workflow, from briefing and review stages through to final output.
  • Adapt global brand platforms into locally relevant concepts and experiences.
  • Lead creative direction for social content, with particular emphasis on TikTok and @nikeaustralia.
  • Work across functions with Brand, Digital, Retail, Media, Sports Marketing and Communications teams.
  • Handle agency partnerships, production planning and creative budgets to drive strong results and return on investment.
  • Showcase work to senior leaders in a way that builds confidence, alignment and momentum behind the ideas.
