About the Role
Alike is looking for a senior performance marketing leader to own inorganic growth for its travel platform. This position is based onsite in Bengaluru and is a full-time role. The work involves driving acquisition, revenue, and retention through digital channels, while helping shape a unified travel experience powered by AI, creator trust, and a modular platform.
What You Will Do
- Take charge of the performance marketing budget and deploy spend in a way that maximizes return on investment.
- Plan and launch digital campaigns that support brand visibility, customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
- Run structured growth experiments to test new ideas for improving acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Use data, insights, and user feedback to refine the funnel and improve the end-to-end user journey.
- Execute audience-targeted campaigns using first-party, second-party, and third-party data to improve segmentation and personalization.
- Keep data privacy and security requirements in mind and ensure marketing practices stay compliant.
- Track, analyze, and improve campaign performance across channels using performance data and industry best practices.
- Define and monitor KPIs to evaluate the impact of marketing activity.
- Prepare performance updates and recommendations for leadership and other stakeholders.
- Guide, coach, and support the performance marketing team so they can deliver effectively.
- Stay current on digital marketing trends, new tools, and developments in the travel sector, and look for fresh growth opportunities.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in online marketing, with a strong record of delivering business growth through high-performing performance marketing campaigns in the travel industry.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and marketing resources efficiently.
- Hands-on experience with full-funnel campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, X, LinkedIn, and other digital channels.
- Strong grounding in growth marketing frameworks and methodologies.
- Experience running campaigns using first-party, second-party, and third-party data to improve relevance and ROI.
- Practical experience with A/B testing and multivariate testing to optimize ads and campaigns.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability, with the skill to interpret and explain complex data.
- Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations such as DPDP Act and GDPR.
- A creative, strategic mindset with a willingness to test and innovate.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and manage a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for influencing different audiences.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving environment and adapting quickly to change.
- Interest in and understanding of the travel industry and customer behavior.
