This position involves steering India's largest biomass supply network dedicated to industrial energy production, with a compensation package starting at 100000 INR per month, recognized as one of the best in the sector.

Role Overview

This position is designed for experienced professionals who have built extensive ground-level sourcing networks in the biomass and agricultural residue ecosystem across India. It emphasizes robust field engagement rather than desk-based activities, focusing on ensuring a stable biomass supply for extensive briquette manufacturing operations.

Primary Duties

• Formulate and execute end-to-end biomass procurement and aggregation plans.
• Source agricultural residues such as cotton stalk, mustard stalk, bagasse, groundnut shell, and sawdust from multiple states.
• Foster and expand ecosystems involving farmers, farmer producer organizations (FPOs), aggregators, and traders.
• Plan for continuous annual and seasonal supply demands.
• Manage large-scale procurement operations ranging from 500 to over 5,000 metric tons per month.
• Optimize vendor performance and negotiate pricing strategies.
• Coordinate logistics to facilitate inbound supply chains across India.

Candidate Profile

• Possess 8–15+ years of experience in biomass, agri-residue, biofuel, pellet, or briquette industries.
• Maintain strong on-ground sourcing networks spanning multiple Indian states.
• Demonstrate experience managing high-volume commodity procurement.
• Have direct interactions with farmers, FPOs, aggregators, and traders.
• Exhibit strong negotiation abilities within fluctuating agricultural commodity markets.
• Possess knowledge regarding biomass quality parameters including moisture content, ash percentage, and calorific value.

Preferred Experience

• Background in leading companies like Reliance Industries or similar ecosystems.
• Experience in biofuel and renewable energy sectors.
• Work history in agri-residue trading or biomass aggregation firms.
• Familiarity with pellet and briquette manufacturing processes.
• Expertise in agricultural supply chain and rural procurement mechanisms.
