- Develop and maintain routing models aimed at maximizing truck utilization, reducing travel miles, and improving on-time delivery performance.
- Monitor delivery accuracy and staging readiness at job-sites, assess drop-zone effectiveness, and gather feedback on field satisfaction.
- Model capacity requirements for drivers and trucks, including delivery windows and site constraints to assist planning efforts.
- Create KPIs and dashboards tracking on-time delivery, route efficiency, staging correctness, rehandling instances, and logistics cost factors.
- Conduct thorough root-cause analyses on delivery failures such as delays, misroutes, and job-site disruptions.
- Recommend and support the rollout of process improvements across routing, staging, dispatch, and on-site deliveries.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, Warehouse, Prefab, Planning, and Field Operations to ensure logistics readiness and cohesive alignment.
- Prepare clear and insightful reports tailored for senior leadership consumption.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Between 5 and 10 years of experience in logistics analytics, transportation analysis, or last-mile delivery optimization.
- Proficient in Excel and Power BI or equivalent analytical tools.
- Strong capability to transform logistics data into actionable insights.
- Experience analyzing routing, delivery metrics, and logistics-related KPIs.
- Excellent communication skills, especially in presenting analysis to senior leadership levels.
- Background in construction, distribution, or field-based delivery settings.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, routing software, or Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
- Relevant certifications like CPIM, CLTD, or equivalent are advantageous.
- Experience working with logistics operations across multiple sites.
