Role Summary
The Senior IT Project Manager holds a critical leadership position responsible for planning, directing, and ensuring the successful delivery of technology projects encompassing applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, and analytics. This role guarantees that projects meet predefined scopes, timelines, budgets, and quality standards while managing governance, resources, vendors, and communication to enable effective digital transformation supporting OSUS's real estate operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily HR activities such as managing employee documentation and approvals under guidance.
- Lead the complete lifecycle of significant IT and digital transformation projects, including ERP, CRM, property management, sales, leasing, facilities, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data analytics, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
- Develop project charters, define objectives, success criteria, and detailed delivery plans; maintain project artifacts such as WBS and dependency mappings; manage resources and budgets alongside rigorous change control.
- Facilitate project governance rituals including kick-offs, workshops, progress evaluations, and steering committee meetings; maintain comprehensive decision logs and RAID registers; coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve issues and secure timely decisions.
- Oversee solution design approvals, integrations via APIs/middleware, user acceptance testing, training, deployment, and post-go-live support, ensuring operational readiness and smooth transition to support teams following defined SLAs.
- Hold formal ownership of the IT project portfolio and roadmap by prioritizing initiatives in partnership with the CTO, aligning delivery with enterprise architecture and organizational strategic goals.
- Translate business requirements into actionable plans through cross-functional workshops, identifying automation and analytical/AI opportunities.
- Deliver executive-level updates, interpreting technical progress and risks into business impacts and actionable recommendations; stay informed on emerging technologies to guide feasibility assessments.
- Ensure compliance with OSUS and Saudi regulations including PDPL, NCA/ECC, CMA, and ZATCA through coordinated security reviews, testing, and approvals.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, upholding business continuity and resilience strategies; escalate issues as necessary.
- Maintain complete documentation and audit readiness; conduct post-implementation reviews to affirm benefits, capture lessons, and foster continuous improvement.
- Monitor project metrics against scope, timelines, budgets, and ROI; manage dashboards, forecasts, and resource planning.
- Standardize and elevate project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid), mentoring team members and ensuring knowledge transfer and accountability.
- Lead vendor selection and management processes, including evaluating proposals, negotiating contracts, defining acceptance criteria, and overseeing performance, ensuring alignment with agreed deliverables and SLAs.
- Collaborate with Procurement and Finance teams for commercial tracking and budgeting; manage vendor support coordination across onsite and offshore resources.
- Execute additional tasks assigned by direct management within the project's scope.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or related field.
- Mandatory PMP certification; PRINCE2 and/or Agile/Scrum certifications preferred.
- Saudi national only.
- Over 10 years of progressive experience in IT project and program management, specifically in digital transformation projects involving ERP, CRM, real estate solutions, data analytics, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
- Demonstrated expertise working with system integrators and third-party vendors; strong grasp of IT governance, risk management, compliance, and budget oversight.
- In-depth knowledge of SDLC and integration mechanisms (APIs, middleware) with emphasis on data integrity and architectural consistency.
- Excellent leadership capabilities with strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills; proven ability to work effectively under pressure and fluency in both Arabic and English.
- Background in real estate, finance, construction, or related industries is considered advantageous.
