Senior Interior Designer - Workplace

Overview

An award-winning design consultancy in Dubai is hiring a Senior Interior Designer to work on workplace projects. The position is centred on concept-led design and direct client interaction, with the chance to influence innovative office and workplace spaces for prominent organisations across the UAE.

The compensation can go up to AED 28,000, subject to experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive the creative vision and early-stage concept development for workplace interior assignments.
• Create persuasive presentations, mood boards, and design stories that clearly express the intended concept.
• Develop and nurture client relationships, confidently presenting ideas and facilitating design conversations.
• Work in coordination with internal stakeholders and external consultants during all phases of the design process.
• Prepare space planning approaches and design resolutions that combine aesthetic quality with practical functionality.
• Take projects forward from the initial brief into design development while upholding high design standards.
• Support and coach junior designers while helping maintain a collaborative studio environment.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in interior design or a closely related discipline.
• At least 7 years of interior design experience, supported by a strong portfolio featuring workplace or commercial office work.
• Background in concept design and client-facing duties within the UAE market.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and storytelling abilities.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and similar professional design tools.
• Strong attention to detail, materials, and spatial planning, with the ability to turn client briefs into compelling design concepts.
