Role Overview
The organization is looking for a Senior Integration Developer to build and support enterprise integration solutions. The position is based in Hyderabad, with the title indicating availability across Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad, BBSR, Chennai, and Kochi.
What You Will Do
- Create, enhance, and support integration platforms using Java, Red Hat Fuse ESB, Apache Camel, and ActiveMQ.
- Develop and maintain RESTful as well as SOAP-based web services.
- Design integration pipelines between business applications and databases.
- Partner with business and systems analysts to translate business needs into technical implementations.
- Build Java batch jobs and backend services that support integration workflows.
- Connect applications to Oracle and SQL Server through JDBC-based access.
- Take part in code reviews and follow established engineering standards and best practices.
- Investigate and fix application, integration, and production incidents.
- Contribute in Agile delivery teams to produce reliable software outcomes.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and deployment-related assets.
- Assist with CI/CD and DevOps practices throughout the development lifecycle.
Required Technical Background
- Strong hands-on experience in Core Java and J2EE.
- Working knowledge of Spring MVC, Struts, or JSF.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise integration solutions.
- Practical exposure to Red Hat Fuse ESB, Apache Camel, and Apache ActiveMQ.
- Ability to work with integration and messaging design patterns.
- Solid experience building REST services and SOAP web services.
- Comfort working with JSON and XML message formats.
- Experience with Oracle and SQL Server databases and JDBC integration.
- Good understanding of SQL queries and batch processing.
- Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Maven, SonarQube, Artifactory, and Stash.
- Hands-on experience in Linux and Unix environments.
- Strong working knowledge of Agile delivery and SDLC processes.
Nice-to-Have Exposure
- Shell scripting experience.
- Windows batch scripting knowledge.
- Exposure to scheduling tools such as Autosys or Zena.
- Experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
