About the Role
The Kent and Medway Mental Health NHS Trust is undertaking its largest improvement initiative called the ‘Doing Well Together’ Programme. This Senior Improvement Lead position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with an outstanding team to design and implement transformative care strategies for mental health, learning disabilities, and autism services across Kent and Medway.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the Trust’s improvement capability and the Improvement Management System (IMS), overseeing its planning, implementation, and successful integration across various teams and directorates.
- Conduct readiness assessments and spearhead engagement activities to ensure effective adoption of IMS.
- Manage and support improvement practitioners within assigned pillars, including line management and ensuring fulfillment of agreed priorities.
- Lead key development programs such as White Belt, Yellow Belt, and A3 awareness training, and contribute to corporate induction and capability growth across the organization.
- Oversee critical components of the Doing Well Together infrastructure, such as driver meetings, status sheet preparation, and sustainability initiatives to embed improvement practices at the frontline.
- Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate initiatives like the Improvement Collaborative and Innovation Den, while aligning with broader organizational objectives, including medical education support.
