Peoplr is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Specialist to join a tightly connected team that supports clients with practical, business-focused HR solutions. Core Focus Areas
In this position, you will work closely with client organizations and their teams to implement HR practices that support business outcomes. The job calls for sound judgment, strong communication, and the confidence to lead conversations with leaders and stakeholders in both virtual and in-person settings.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 4 years of experience as an HR Generalist with a track record of supporting employees and managers through HR services aligned to business goals
- Practical experience across multiple HR areas, including benefits, employee relations, manager coaching, HR data administration, onboarding, offboarding, performance management, compensation, job design, workplace and employment policies, and employee engagement programs
- Working knowledge of state and federal employment laws
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with initiative, responsiveness, and consistent follow-through
- Comfort leading meetings and presenting to business owners and senior leaders, both online and face-to-face
- Experience using an HRIS for data review, updates, and reporting, plus strong comfort with technology
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related discipline
Preferred Background
- Professional HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP
