Role Overview

Peoplr, LLC is seeking an experienced Human Resources Consultant to join its close-knit team. In this position, you will serve as a dependable advisor to client organizations, helping assess needs and put effective HR solutions in place that support stronger business outcomes. The ideal candidate brings strong communication and relationship-building abilities, a track record of contributing to strategic HR work, and a positive, collaborative attitude. This is a part-time opportunity for approximately 20 hours per week, based in Jacksonville, FL, with remote work flexibility.

What You Will Do

In this advisory role, you will work closely with clients to understand their business context, recommend practical HR approaches, and help implement solutions. You will collaborate with leaders to improve people practices, strengthen team effectiveness, and support organizational goals through thoughtful HR guidance.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience working as an HR Business Partner, preferably in an organization with 100+ employees and established HR processes.
• Ability to take a consultative approach by clarifying goals, exploring options, and guiding clients toward sound decisions.
• Demonstrated success partnering with leaders to design and deliver HR support aligned with business objectives.
• Hands-on knowledge across multiple HR areas, such as leadership coaching, team effectiveness, performance management, compensation, and employee engagement.
• Strong ability to build trust and credibility with people at all levels of an organization.
• Excellent judgment, planning, time management, and communication skills.
• Business acumen with the ability to connect people, processes, and technology to improve collaboration.
• Confident executive presence and comfort advising senior leaders.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP is a plus.
