Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Human Resources Officer to join our client in the medical sector on a secondment basis for an initial duration of six months, with a possibility of extension. This position requires on-site presence in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with Saudi Arabian labor laws and organizational standards.
- Manage employee relations by providing support for performance management, resolving conflicts, facilitating disciplinary actions, and leading employee engagement programs.
- Maintain precise HR records and lead the creation of job descriptions.
- Coordinate recruitment activities and new employee onboarding processes.
- Advise management on workforce planning and best HR practices.
- Collaborate with leadership on organizational restructuring projects.
- Ensure HR compliance and promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Familiarity with the JISR HRMS platform.
- Experience using Saudi Arabian systems such as QIWA, GOSI, and MUWAD.
- Proven expertise in strategic and operational human resources management.
- Strong capabilities in managing employee relations, handling grievances, and facilitating engagement initiatives transparently and fairly.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related discipline; additional professional certifications like CIPD or SHRM are advantageous.
- Sound knowledge of labor laws and HR regulations applicable in Saudi Arabia, with prior experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to establish trust with stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Demonstrated discretion in managing confidential information and the ability to make informed, data-driven decisions.
