Overview
This opportunity is with a major North American industrial distribution organization supporting a large-scale operation in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. The position is a senior leadership role focused on shaping people strategy for a workforce of more than 500 employees. It combines strategic hiring, employee relations, HR operations, and team leadership, with an emphasis on using modern HR systems such as Workday to support growth and operational efficiency.
The role suits a seasoned HR leader who can operate effectively in a demanding, high-volume environment with shift-based teams. You will help build a strong HR function, partner with senior leadership, and contribute to a high-performance workplace culture across warehouse, facilities, and office-based teams.
Key responsibilities
You will oversee the HR function for a population of more than 500 employees and ensure smooth people operations across multiple business areas. The role also includes leading hiring efforts, strengthening employee experience, supporting leaders on performance and engagement matters, and guiding an HR team toward consistent execution and high standards.
Required experience and capabilities
The employer is seeking someone with extensive HR and recruiting experience, ideally gained in fast-moving, high-volume, warehouse, or distribution settings. You should have a track record of leading HR professionals, managing complex employee matters, and using HRIS and ATS platforms effectively, with Workday experience especially valuable. Strong Microsoft Office skills, solid knowledge of Texas employment law, and familiarity with federal labor rules are also important.
Compensation and benefits
The position offers a salary range of $120,000 to $150,000 per year, along with multiple annual bonus opportunities.
