Overview
We are recruiting for a Haystack partner for a Junior Finance Specialist position in Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany. The role centers on audit work, financial statement review, and advisory support across a wide range of client situations.
What you will do
- Carry out standard audits of annual and consolidated financial statements in line with both national and international requirements.
- Support clients with audit-related advisory work across multiple industries, including credit institutions and financial services organizations.
- Review business models and accounting matters and turn your findings into clear, structured assessments for expert opinions and project work.
- Participate in special audits that help address complex client questions and support informed decision-making.
- Work with colleagues from different specialist areas on projects covering topics such as compliance and financial reporting.
What you need
- A completed degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Health Economics, Business Informatics, Business Mathematics, Informatics, Natural Sciences, or Law.
- A focus or specialization in Auditing, Accounting, Banking, or IT.
- First practical exposure through an internship or working-student role in audit, accounting, healthcare, banking, or compliance, or alternatively commercial training with a banking background.
- Very strong German and English skills at C1 level.
- Good analytical ability, comfort with numerical work, and a collaborative mindset.
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly as part of an active project team.
