About the Role

Aligned Dental is expanding and seeking a knowledgeable Senior HR Generalist to join our team based in Sarasota, Florida. This position plays a crucial part in supporting the daily execution of HR initiatives and processes, fostering a compliant, efficient, and employee-centric workplace environment. Collaborating closely with company leaders, managers, and team members, the Senior HR Generalist ensures HR operations and policies are consistently and lawfully applied while nurturing a positive organizational culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage HRIS databases to ensure accurate employee records, data entry, and comprehensive reporting.
  • Produce insightful HR reports to aid workforce planning and provide operational information to leadership, including Finance and MOR teams.
  • Maintain organizational charts and monitor workforce reporting to reflect true reporting relationships, supporting leadership in organizational development.
  • Coordinate the preparation and submission of the annual EEO-1 report, maintaining essential documentation to guarantee compliance with regulations.
  • Ensure thorough documentation and upkeep of employee files and mandatory employment records.
  • Act as a trusted HR contact for employees and managers, delivering timely guidance and assistance on various HR topics.
  • Collaborate with management and employees to promote positive relations and resolve daily workplace questions or concerns.
  • Investigate employee relations issues impartially and comprehensively to address any concerns raised.
  • Contribute to employee engagement by supporting company events, activities, and internal programs.
  • Manage recognition programs consistently, celebrating individual and team achievements throughout the company.
  • Work alongside HR and administrative teams in organizing company events and employee initiatives.
  • Monitor and implement federal and state employment laws to maintain HR compliance, ensuring accurate documentation and recordkeeping.
  • Prepare employment-related documentation and offer support during administrative proceedings or hearings when necessary.
  • Participate actively in HR projects and process improvements aligned with the department’s strategic goals.

Supervisory Details

The role may involve project management responsibilities but currently does not include direct staff supervision, although this may evolve.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field, or equivalent experience; HR certification is highly preferred.
  • At least five years of progressive experience as a Human Resources Generalist, with emphasis on compliance in multi-site, multi-state settings.
  • Proven ability to handle numerous priorities in a dynamic, fast-moving workplace.
  • Experience in dental or related healthcare sectors is advantageous.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of multi-state and federal employment legislation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR Information Systems.
  • Demonstrated handling of sensitive and confidential information.
  • Effective written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
