About the Role
We are expanding our International team with a Senior Software Engineer position at our new Dublin office. This role centers on front-end development for dealer-oriented products targeting markets in Canada and the UK. The successful candidate will play a vital role in shaping product experiences and establishing the office culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build high-quality, scalable user interfaces for international dealer products using React and TypeScript.
- Collaborate across teams including product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver iterative software solutions.
- Participate in technical design and architectural discussions.
- Manage frontend services from concept through deployment and ongoing maintenance.
- Ensure applications are secure, maintainable, and optimized for performance adhering to code quality standards.
- Identify and resolve complex issues in production with observability tools.
- Provide mentorship to junior developers, conduct comprehensive code reviews, and contribute to establishing engineering standards and team processes in the new office.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in front-end development building responsive and dynamic user interfaces with React and TypeScript.
- Experienced in server-side TypeScript frameworks such as Remix, Next.js, or Express.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and teamwork skills suited for fast-paced, iterative environments.
- Knowledgeable in RESTful API design, microservices architecture, distributed systems, and GraphQL.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and managing live production systems.
- Motivated to learn rapidly and take ownership of projects.
- Bonus points for experience with cloud service providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Compensation and Benefits
The expected annual base salary ranges from €78,000 to €94,000 EUR, depending on location, experience, skills, and education. The package may include bonuses, incentives, and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
