Role Overview
As a Senior Financial Analyst at GLOBO in Philadelphia, you will partner closely with the company's financial leadership to develop annual budgets, track monthly financial results, perform sensitivity analyses, and support strategic efforts aimed at enhancing financial performance. This position requires a strong analytical mindset combined with operational focus and experience handling large datasets. Proficiency in financial concepts, systems, and modeling along with excellent interpersonal abilities are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of FP&A & Enterprise Analytics in overseeing key financial processes and reporting.
- Critically evaluate budget feasibility by division and function throughout the organization.
- Conduct thorough profit and loss analyses down to the net level.
- Help develop service line-specific reporting.
- Contribute to presentations for monthly business reviews.
- Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of reports.
- Provide detailed operational KPI analyses to support decision-making.
- Coordinate forecasting, budgeting, and medium-term planning processes.
- Review major projects and financial investments for impact assessment.
- Support cost optimization and transformation initiatives.
- Offer assistance to functional leadership teams.
- Lead process improvement and FP&A-focused projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent education and experience.
- At least 4 years of progressive finance experience.
- Strong understanding of fundamental financial principles and accounting transactions.
- Experience working with accounting systems and financial reporting and analysis tools.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and chart creation.
- Ability to effectively engage with senior business leaders and communicate complex financial data clearly.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Proven track record in analyzing processes, identifying improvements, and implementing projects.
