Overview

Renesas Electronics seeks a seasoned finance expert to support global financial planning, analysis, and performance management within the Memory Interface Division of its Product Group. Reporting to the Global Controller, this role partners closely with Finance and Business stakeholders across Americas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific to provide insightful data that drives financial planning, capital allocation, strategy formulation, and operational efficiency improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and upkeep of a consolidated financial model aligned with strategic and operational business goals.
  • Coordinate annual operating plans, quarterly rolling forecasts, and 3–5 year long-term financial planning for the engineering organization.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and finance teams to facilitate financial planning cycles, perform ad-hoc analyses, and support capital investment decision-making.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate financial and operational performance, preparing comprehensive monthly reports highlighting variances and providing insights and recommendations for leadership.
  • Conduct financial modeling and valuation assessments to support major capital expenditures and optimize capital deployment aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Support implementation and standardization of corporate financial policies and compliance procedures, including cooperation with India-based accounting and regulatory teams.
  • Drive process improvements, financial transparency, and disciplined execution within a dynamic environment, influencing change and refining end-to-end business processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fields; advanced certifications such as MBA, CMA, or CFA are highly desirable.
  • 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, business finance, or financial controlling, preferably within public companies and semiconductor or technology-driven environments.
  • Practical expertise in cost modeling, business case evaluation, and investment decision-making.
  • Solid knowledge of IFRS standards and familiarity with ERP systems like NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.
  • Proven capability to translate complex financial data for executive leadership decisions through compelling narratives.
  • Strong analytical skills, adeptness at improving business processes, and excellent communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to function effectively as an individual contributor in fast-paced settings, with readiness to both mentor and be mentored in collaborative settings.

Additional Information

Annual compensation ranges between $100,000 and $130,000, with eligibility for bonuses. Final salary will depend on geographic location, experience, and skill set.
