About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join our finance department in Bengaluru on an on-site basis. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with between 2 to 5 years of post-qualification experience. The role demands someone with deep knowledge of taxation, treasury functions, accounting, and financial reporting who can proactively uphold compliance, enhance financial controls, and guide a skilled finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and precise adherence to Direct Tax, GST, and all other statutory compliances.
- Attend to tax audits, assessments, and maintain correspondence with regulatory bodies.
- Manage treasury operations, maintain banking relations, and oversee cash flow management.
- Supervise accounting processes ensuring well-maintained financial records.
- Lead monthly and yearly financial closings, encompassing Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow statements.
- Liaise effectively with internal and external auditors to ensure audit preparedness.
- Establish and reinforce internal financial controls and compliance mechanisms.
- Guide and mentor finance teams to achieve operational excellence.
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with 2 to 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Comprehensive hands-on experience in Direct Taxation and GST is mandatory.
- Proficient in treasury management, accounting, financial reporting and audit processes.
- Experience working in startups or fast-growing companies will be an advantage.
- Strong skills in analysis, problem-solving, and managing stakeholders effectively.
- Leadership experience within finance teams is preferred.
