About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Finance Executive to join a boutique yacht management company affiliated with a well-established family office in Singapore. This position will handle the financial operations of a luxury yacht portfolio, ensuring precise financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and supporting daily business activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile monthly financial statements, consolidate accounts, and conduct variance analyses.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls for assigned yacht portfolios.
- Deliver timely and accurate financial reports to internal teams and yacht owners.
- Track operational expenses and provide financial insights to aid decision-making.
- Review and process vendor invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions, ensuring accurate expense allocation.
- Manage banking procedures and maintain comprehensive financial records.
- Assist in finance-related tasks for other business entities as needed.
- Administer yacht crew payroll, ensuring punctual and accurate disbursements.
- Support owner-related financial administration and address finance inquiries.
- Maintain proper documentation and financial records.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain financial data integrity within yacht management systems.
- Handle regulatory compliance documents such as KYC and AML as required.
- Collaborate with operations teams to oversee inventory costs, project spending, and provisioning budgets.
- Provide financial assistance to enhance operational efficiency and cost management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles.
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CA are advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with financial reporting, budgeting, management accounting, and month-end closings.
- Familiarity with account consolidation, variance analysis, and finance operations is preferred.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office suite.
- Highly meticulous, analytical, and capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently.
- Strong communication abilities and experience in stakeholder management.
- Background in maritime, yachting, hospitality, luxury services, or family offices is a plus but not mandatory.
