Senior Finance Analyst

Role overview

This position supports the Head of Finance for IT and partners with stakeholders across the business to help deliver the finance plan for assigned functional areas. The role focuses on keeping spending under control, producing monthly reporting, supporting business partnering, preparing forecasts, and contributing to annual budget planning.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with forecasting and annual budgeting by coordinating closely with the functions assigned to you.
• Prepare clear variance analysis and explain the key drivers for inclusion in group reporting.
• Partner with HR contacts to track people-related costs for month-end close, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Work with business functions to understand major cost drivers and find ways to improve spend efficiency.
• Support management reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, including month-end close reports, quarterly and monthly forecast updates, and the yearly budget process for Global Overheads and CAPEX.
• Take on additional tasks as needed to support the team’s priorities.
• Provide support to the Head of Finance whenever required.
• Monitor and manage costs for the functions assigned to you.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as team members, finance colleagues, senior function leaders, and HR.
• Help ensure each function stays within budget and forecast targets while identifying opportunities to optimise spend.
