About the Role
Join the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) as a Senior Executive/Manager in the Community & Partnership team, playing a pivotal role in advancing employment and employability for workers. This position focuses on connecting workers with employers through job matching, career guidance, and upskilling initiatives. Collaboration with various stakeholders for recruitment, training, and job redesign to support skills development nationwide is fundamental.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and strengthen partnerships with communities, institutions, and groups to engage workers, understand their career aspirations, and link them to appropriate employment and training resources.
- Lead and coordinate career-focused initiatives, including job placement events, skills enhancement workshops, and employment drives.
- Offer comprehensive employment facilitation support to jobseekers by sourcing job opportunities, profiling candidates, and guiding them to suitable training programs.
- Effectively match and promote job vacancies to candidates and vice versa, ensuring optimal placement outcomes.
Desired Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated passion for assisting Singaporeans in securing employment and improving their employability.
- Proactive in driving improvements in processes, productivity, and capability development.
- Capable of working both autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
- Adaptable and innovative, able to respond to evolving situations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to build rapport with jobseekers at all levels and maintain effective partner relationships.
- Proven project management expertise, covering planning, execution, evaluation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Background in business development, project management, or program development is a plus.
- Willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends to meet workers' and jobseekers' needs, with compensatory time off provided.

Location: Devan Nair Institute, Jurong East, Singapore.
