Job description
Role Overview
CCECC is hiring a Senior Estimator to work from its Abu Dhabi office in the UAE. This is a full-time, office-based position focused on estimating and tendering for construction projects.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s qualification in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a closely related discipline is needed.
- Holding RICS accreditation would be an added advantage.
- Candidates should bring at least 10 years of construction-sector experience in the UAE.
- Applicants must have 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience specifically in tender estimation.
- Prior exposure to housing developments and high-rise building projects is required.
- Experience with construction and tendering practices in the UAE or wider GCC region is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed cost estimates and perform quantity take-offs for construction bids.
- Price tenders accurately and prepare bid submissions within deadlines.
- Review and interpret tender documentation to identify scope, risks, and requirements.
- Work with suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing and commercial inputs.
- Assist with broader commercial and tendering tasks across construction projects.
