Job description
About Zauber
Zauber was founded after the team behind Forto experienced firsthand how much of global logistics still relies on manual work, spreadsheets, and disconnected systems. The company is building autonomous AI agents for logistics operations so that repetitive tasks can be handled by software that learns, communicates with both systems and people, and improves over time.
The product is already in use with major logistics companies across Europe and Asia, and the business is supported by P9, one of Europe’s leading early-stage investors. Zauber is expanding quickly and is looking for an outstanding Senior Enterprise Sales Manager to help shape the next generation of AI-driven logistics infrastructure.
Role Overview
This position owns the complete enterprise sales journey with freight forwarders, from the first discussion through to contract signature. It is a high-impact role with significant responsibility, where your work will directly influence the company’s early growth and market position.
What You Will Do
- Manage the full enterprise and upper mid-market sales cycle with global freight forwarders generating roughly €0.5-30bn in revenue, including C-level stakeholders, and turn active pilots into long-term, multi-year agreements.
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with senior decision-makers at leading global and regional logistics companies.
- Collaborate closely with the Commercial Lead and Founder to sharpen messaging, market positioning, and commercial terms.
- Create and continuously improve scalable sales playbooks as the company transitions from founder-led selling to a structured sales team.
- Lead pricing discussions, contract negotiations, and deal design while working with product and engineering to feed customer insights into the roadmap.
- Capture, organize, and share customer feedback and market intelligence with the broader Zauber team.
What You Need to Bring
- 5-10 years of experience in enterprise sales, preferably with technology or software solutions sold into traditional sectors.
- Comfort working through complex enterprise buying processes with long sales cycles and several decision-makers.
- Confidence operating in uncertain, fast-changing environments where the sales approach is still being built.
- Experience thriving in founder-led settings and moving fluidly between strategic planning and hands-on execution.
- A strong bias toward speed, excellence, and ownership.
Candidate Profile
- A history of closing six- and seven-figure enterprise contracts with Fortune 500 or similarly sized organizations.
- Background selling SaaS, AI, or automation tools into legacy or operations-intensive industries.
- Ability to run discovery conversations, build compelling business cases, and measure ROI in complex operational settings.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to earn trust across different stakeholder groups.
- Excellent written and spoken English and German; additional European languages are considered an advantage.
- Willingness to travel frequently within Europe and occasionally to Asia and North America.
Location and Working Setup
- In-person presence is expected for at least a few days each week in the Berlin and/or Hamburg office.
- The role is based in the Berlin Metropolitan Area.
- Start date: as soon as possible.
- The team holds an annual offsite; last year it was a four-week trip to San Francisco.
Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation is positioned at the top end of the market.
- Meaningful early-stage equity is included.
- You will join a very experienced team that offers trust and autonomy.
- The role gives you the chance to define the go-to-market foundation of a company and product from the ground up.
- You will work on a mission-focused product designed to shape the future of global trade.
Why This Role Matters
Zauber is already operating with real customers rather than only demonstrations, and demand is not the main challenge; execution is. This is an opportunity to join at a very early stage, help build the company, and contribute to core infrastructure for logistics automation.
The long-term vision is a world where every shipment is proactively managed by intelligent agents and operators have powerful new capabilities to keep trade moving without disruption.
Europe-Focused Mission
The company is being built from Europe with the belief that Europe’s future prosperity and strategic strength depend on having major AI-native companies that can compete globally. Zauber aims to become one of the world’s leading automation companies while selling internationally from the start.
